Well, things are finally going my way. I’m engaged to the most wonderful guy ever and I’m six weeks pregnant. Plus I have the most wonderful Mom and Son in the world. What a lucky girl I am. =)

Another night with the cramps in my legs waking me up. It's so painful. Dr Bens suggest for the tonic water sure does help. I drink it and they go away. I just wish they would never come back. They are in my upper legs too now. Well we made it past two years with the death of Dad and 6 years (2-23-09) with the death (2-26-05) of my Sister Debbie. Now we have Lafe leaving for Cali tomorrow to make it through..

Very Anxious…

Tomorrow is my brain surgery. Have to be at Dr. Nichols office @ 11:00 to have my MRI to mark my head and get me ready. The surgery is scheduled for 1:00. I will be so happy when it’s all over and done with. I rarely sleep anymore. I have been up since 3:00 am. Hopefully after the surgery, I will be able to sleep.

I went to my family Doctor yesterday, had to switch to Dr Ben. Wow, what a dang mess. I have a kidney infection, my blood pressure is crazy high, and some of the meds I am on are bringing up my Sugar higher than it has ever been. It was up to like 424 last week and stays in the late 200’s and 300’s. I rarely have sugar anymore, so we know it’s the pills doing it. Dr Ben got me back on a depression pill that I will be starting later today if they are able to get it cleared. It’s one of the only ones that does not make you gain weight and I sure do not need to gain anymore weight. I take around 15 pills a day now, plus I have to take my Byetta(for diabetes) shot. It’s not insulin, it’s just another form of medicine. The kidneys are already starting to feel better, the pains in my side aren’t so terrible anymore and I am so glad to say that. I hate they pain I was having from the kidneys and then of course my headaches also. Bleh!

I have to say, these past few weeks have been some tough ones. Knowing that I had to have surgery nearly the whole time has been rough. But let me tell ya what, God, my Son, my Mom, my family and friends are helping me through this all, I think I would be insane without all of them. And I think I said it before, but I have run into so many more friends than ever thought. Facebook is so very helpful and I am glad I am there. =) I have found a lot of family there also.

Well, I think I have finished all of my thoughts, I guess I should close for now.

Dustin, Mom and I had such a wonderful day today. We went to see Shrek The Final Chapter @ 4:25 then we had dinner at Golden Corral. It was so nice. The movie was great, I think it was the best one. Wish it wasn’t the last one.. =( Mom even liked it and Dustin had already saw it with his Dad, but wanted to see it again. Can’t wait until it comes out on DVD. I want to take Dustin to the Aquatic Center tomorrow, but not sure yet, may have to wait until next week sometime. Not looking forward to Sunday.. Father’s Day is a pretty tough day without Dad..

I saw the most wonderful thing as Mom and I were out walking a bit ago. We were walking out by the backwaters and on a big concrete pipe that goes under the road I saw 4-5 turtles and as I walked up near them (all the way at the top of the road LOL) they scurried away in a hurry. We continued to walk after I saw them and I kept seeing little turtle heads popping out of the water in a few different spots. It was so neat. I had never seen anything like that before. VERY COOL!

I am so excited. My Mom got me a new Dell laptop with Windows 7. Exactly what I wanted!! Got it yesterday 11-30-09. It is so awesome, has everything with lots of space and then some, even has a built in webcam!! I am having so much fun with it. This morning I got my wireless router hooked up and my internet going on my new laptop. It's so great!! Just wow!! lol Dustin is loving it too. hee hee

LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the "King of Pop" and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. He was 50.

The person said Jackson died in a Los Angeles hospital. The person was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity.

The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the newspaper.

Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album "Thriller" — which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" — remains the biggest-selling album of all time, with more than 26 million copies.

He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

By some measures, he ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. In fact, he united two of music's biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie.

As years went by, he became an increasingly freakish figure — a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grownup life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He surrounded himself with children at his Neverland ranch, often wore a germ mask while traveling and kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions.

In 2005, he was cleared of charges he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland in 2003. He had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him. The case took a fearsome toll on his career and image, and he fell into serious financial trouble.

Jackson was preparing for what was to be his greatest comeback: He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at a London arena, with the first set for July 13. He was in rehearsals in Los Angeles for the concert, an extravaganza that was to capture the classic Jackson magic: showstopping dance moves, elaborate staging and throbbing dance beats.

Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital as word of his death spread. The emergency entrance at the UCLA Medical Center, which is near Jackson's rented home, was roped off with police tape.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Jackson has just died," a woman boarding a Manhattan bus called out, shortly after the news was annunced. Immediately many riders reached for their cell phones.

In New York's Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone.

"No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow," Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend sent to his telephone. "It's like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died."

Wow, it's hard to believe yet another year has nearly passed. In less than a month (28 days to be exact), I will be 32 years old. 2009 has really been a rough one. I have lost alot of loved ones this year. Found out on Thursday that I have diabetes. Have made some huge changes this year too.. It's been over two months since I quit smoking. I barely drink any soda anymore, mostly drink water now. And there are more changes to come. I look forward to those changes. :)

Well, so far, 2009 has really taken a toll on my life. My Dad was really sick all of January and into February and he finally gave up on February 23rd. About a month later I quit smoking *4 my Dad and myself, my Dad passed away from Cancer*. That's really not been too hard, but my Mom went back to smoking and that kinda bothers me. I quit on April the 6th. Then on April 22nd I had two discs taken out of my back. I haven't fully recovered from that yet, but I am doing a lot better and the scarring is a minimal. :) I'm very happy about that. Two days ago, I found out my best friend from school, her Mom passed away, I was very close to her, she was like a second Mom to me. So, what's next?? And that's 2009 for me so far.. Not so good yet... I'll keep trying..
